I think the PD is doing this on purpose.

In California, it’s mainly because of wildfires.

Depends on the update. Usually you gain back most of the space after the temp install files are removed, but it’s never perfect.

Event Brite is a great option.

OP is the exact reason I will never, ever do weddings. The complete mistrust and lack of understanding of the industry. And of course the attitude.

Currently living in the Bay Area. During non COVID years, I spend about half the year in SD working events. I think when people say they hate the Bay Area, they mean SF and South Bay. Traffic is insane, housing is way too high, and homelessness is rampant with tents at every corner.
Some would say that Diego has some of these same issues, but it seems amplified as a whole and people seem more stressed out. The greater Bay Area on the other hand is super chill and I still love it up here as well (North Bay).

That’s always in the back of my mind when passing that area, the worst part is the cliff on the other side.
Looks like they lucked out in this case.

Great to hear. I love the kite’s responsiveness, I’ll look at the newer release.

The normal timeline for upwind is more like a few months unless you don’t work or live near a spot.
Many people only ride on weekends so the right conditions aren’t really always going to be there.

Not actually kiteboarding, on land. So it might be different under full tension.

The Rubicon in this case is a river and “you” is Caesar. So it’s fine. You reach the Rubicon, then you cross it.

COMMENT 5d ago
Crossing the Rubicon is actually an expression you can use. It’s in reference to Caesar crossing the Rubicon river which led to the rise of Rome. In other words, a new era. Reaching would be fine too.

And Intel has always been making GPUs, just not discreet ones.
