I already said that the previous shows didn't really connect with the films. There's no need to repeat the same point over and over again.

The thing is that they are officially canon.

Maybe they'll do that, who knows. But for now, they are officially MCU.

COMMENT 16h ago

And I'm keeping the points simple, I said that Feige stated that it's canon and gave sourced quotes of him saying that.

Yes, I already said that the shows events mostly aren't mentioned in the films. No need to repeat it.

In the end the shows are officially part of the MCU. Does Marvel Studios treat them as such? Not much, apart from some references and the Jarvis cameo in Endgame. We'll see what they do with the Inhumans in Ms Marvel and the rumoured Daredevil cameo in No Way Home.

My guess is that they won't mention the shows events but they'll try to avoid contradictions, like what they did with the Incredible Hulk film.

But right now the shows are officially part of the MCU. It was stated by Marvel and by Feige. Will they be retconned in the future? Who knows, but if that happens, they'll stop being canon.

But it hasn't happened yet, so they are still canon. No need for debate.

Also I gave the sources for all the quotes I posted, you should do the same.

Just because the D+ shows will interlink with the films it doesn't mean the previous shows aren't canon. They were never really referenced in the films while the D+ ones will. It's the only "proof" people use to say that they aren't canon, a misinterpreted quote taken out of context.

I showed you statements of Feige literally saying that the shows are canon after the separation from Entertainment. Why should he pretend? If he wanted to declare the shows not canon he would just do that. Disney wasn't afraid of decanonizing the old Star Wars EU or taking the Marvel logo away from Helstrom. Why didn't he do that?

[Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.] produce things quicker than we do, which is one of the main reasons you see the repercussions of "Winter Soldier" or "Age of Ultron" in the show. I think a crossover is inevitable at some point. source

This is from September 2015, a month after the separation from Entertainment.

This one is from after that,

But all of those things [the shows] inhabit, however far on the outskirts, the same continuity. source

I think that counts as confirmation. Until Feige speaks up and says that the shows will be decanonized, they are still canon.

Marvel Studios separated from Entertainment in August 2015. The quote I showed you is from September, one month later.

The thing is the last time he spoke about it he said that the shows are canon. He never said otherwise. They were canon when they started and they are still canon now. Simple as that.

The same goes with AoS, its connections with the films were smaller in the later seasons but they were still there, they even used the Quantum Realm to time travel in the last season.

I already said why the quote you linked doesn't mean anything. Clickbait articles twist each word to get more clicks. This other quote is from shortly after the separation.

Feige never said that they aren't canon.

That's the quote I said. I don't understand how people think that the D+ shows interlinking with the films is 100% confirmation that the other shows aren't canon. It's just clickbait sites twisting each word for easy clicks.

But all of those things [the shows] inhabit, however far on the outskirts, the same continuity. source

Not that I remember. The closest thing was when he said that the D+ shows would be the first ones to fully interlink with the films.

I saw rumours that after the events of Ms. Marvel someone would make a TV show/documentary based on the Inhuman Royal Family, which would be the ABC show. It's an interesting way to remove it from canon but not entirely.

They are. Feige confirmed it.

Bruh, Walker has been contacted by Val, he's making a new shield, he'll fight in the final episode's battle. There are toy leaks (which are true most of the time) which confirm that he'll wear the classic suit. His transformation is so similar to the one in the comics that it wouldn't make sense not to make him U.S.Agent one way or another.

Just use your brain.

But this post is specifically about the shows.

CBR isn't a reputable source, that's why I quoted the exact quote and not the article.

The 3rd one has him acknowledging that Ghost Rider made his debut in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and saying that Blade could appear in one the TV shows, obviously that never ended up happening tho.

The 2nd one is towards the end. This is the full quote.

INTERVIEWER: Is there room for the Defenders to show up on the big screen?

FEIGE: The Netflix series are leading to a Defenders series, and Devin is asking about including them into the features at some point, because Infinity War is going to be big. There are a lot of people from the movies (chuckles) in Infinity War. A lot of it is about space, and a lot of it is about just what happens between now and then. But all of those things inhabit, however far on the outskirts, the same continuity. So certainly that opportunity exists.
