eggs are weaker around the middle (where you crack them for omelettes and such) they are very strong on the dome end. the dome structure is well known because of it's ability to spread out the load

in the video where people are standing on them they're always vertical and always in multiples so that they can spread the load among all the eggs and the eggs can further spread out the load using the dome shape. cracking an egg on the circumference (horizontal), the same way both people did in the video, with your bicep is not that hard. try putting it vertical with the domes against your forearm and bicep and try it.

further when people grab it and squeeze (to show how strong eggs are) they always put their force on the dome ends and not the middle
