This is the case when you can't resist communist propaganda... I'm sorry America, but it's too cute...

Hey, those are my pets! :DThe golden retriever's name is Buddy, and my beautiful cat's name is Tora after Toradora because I was a huge anime nerd back when we first got her. This photo was taken by my dad on our porch and he uploaded it to his Facebook, and from there this photo started to swirl around the internet lol. This was taken shortly after we got Tora about 6 years ago, and my dog went outside during a warm summer day, and Tora followed, but didn't realize how hot the wood was so kept to the shade, and eventually lied down next to Buddy after he lied down in the middle of the deck.
My sister and I tried to recreate them sitting next to each other during this past Christmas in case this photo popped up again to show them grown up, but it felt like trying to get two rebellious teens to smile during a family gathering lmao. Here is how it went.

My family has had a running joke about this photo because we were so certain one of us took it. We had an identical situation years ago, and your pets look the exact same as ours. The only thing we couldn’t figure out was how on earth it went viral

Amazing photo. Is there any way I could use it for a cover art for my music? I’m not famous or anything but I think this photo would be awesome for that

That cat is in for a wild ride when the doggo sees a squirrel.

My mother ended up with a cat with a curiosity for velocity after he caught a ride under her hood.
Amazingly, half an hour at highway speeds and the only injuries were a few light burns on his paws.

We found our cat after driving back from my mom's cancer treatment in Minnesota in the winter. After 5 hours of straight driving, we heard a meow coming from our engine area. We somehow managed to get him out, and he was completely unharmed.
That's how Piston joined our family.

I love that name. I hope you lovingly call him "Little Pisser"!

He certainly acts like it haha. He's probably the weirdest cat we've ever had. But j love him regardless.
Can't wait to go home to see family and pets after this pandemic.

Funny you said this because this is exactly how I adopted my cat! It rode 40 miles under my hood from work and couldn't be happier that she did lol. Thankfully the engine has a cover on it do she wasn't harmed either.

Oh my God they are so cute! The kitten supports the doggie in a difficult situation. My dog, a Yorkshire Terrier, was mauled today. She went blind. In spite of other illnesses, I decided to have surgery to repair the crystal. It was a success!!!
I thought I was going to die of stress.
I didn't think a man my age would care so much about a dog...
Now he'll be walking around with a cone like that, too :)

A little on the Debra downer side, but dog owner PSA:
The FIRM cones can be really traumatic to some dogs. Because it’s around their ears and is hard plastic it reverberates noises, amplifying them. So their own barks can actually hurt their ears...causing anxiety, stress, and potential behavior issues. They do make soft cones that Will provide the same protection from licking, chewing, nibbling, etc. but doesn’t cause the noise to reverberate/amplify. (Although may be a disappointment for kitty’s purposes)
Know this from experience. My MIL’s dog had a hard cone and really freaked out; acted very out of character for the 1.5 days she had it on until we figured out the issue. She is an amazingly well behaved dog and she actually nipped at my MIL when she had the cone on, that was actually the final straw bc we knew something had to be wrong for her to do that. Never had before and never has since...she’s 12 yo now and this happened about 4 years ago.
Just something to be aware of bc we were so perplexed. She had obv had surgery to be in need of a cone, so we thought maybe that had traumatized her or there had been complications. Took her to the vet twice in the 36 hrs she was wearing the cone and they didn’t mention that it could be a problem. It was the family that boards her when our family is rarely traveling without her. We just happened to talk to her and mentioned Chloe was acting weird. She told us to change the cone and it was like magic. She went right back to being the happy, calm, well behaved and loving lady she normally is.
